Parents

Just a few things we ask of parents to help us provide the best for your children throughout their Scouting career:

Bring your child to Cubs each week on time unless there is a genuine reason not to do so
Ensure your child is dropped off at the correct venue with appropriate equipment
Collect your Cub on time at the end of each meeting
Ensure we know in advance if your child will not be attending for any reason so we can plan ahead
Complete a Criminal Record Bureau check form for us
Inform us of any special needs your child may have or develop
Comply with the reasonable requests of the leadership team
Understand that limited resources mean that we cannot always do all the things that you, or we might like to
Ensure subs are paid on time (ask for a Direct Debit form and, if you are a UK Taxpayer, a Gift Aid form)
Support fundraising activities
Let us know if you have a particular skill or expertise that you are willing to offer - either regularly or occasionally

Bullying

We believe that we all have the right to be respected and not to be bullied, whether we are paid or not, regardless of our age, sex, cultural, ethnic or religious background.

Bullying can be emotional as well as physical but we will not tolerate it in any form by, or of, our members.

If you have concerns that bullying is, or may be, taking place, please raise this with one of the leaders.
