Akela is named after the Wolf in the Jungle Books and is the leader of the Cub pack in most Scout Groups, including 1st Cookham.

Akela's job is to keep everything running as smoothly as possible and everyone happy - including the other leaders!

Our Akela is Fiona McWilliam. Fiona has been involved in Scouting for more years than she cares to remember and likes us to remind her of.   She works as a teacher, lives in Cookham with her partner, Dave and has a daughter who we expect to eventually join Beavers and then Cubs.
	Akela does not normally carry a dolly everywhere (or so she tells us!)
